History

Lakshmi NYC believes that everything you surround yourself with should reflect your inner being first.  We always strive to create products that represent an organic, healthy, and natural lifestyle. Lakshmi NYC, created by Jo Hook, has researched and manufactured three fragrances: Lakshmi, Parvati and Athena since the year 2000.

Lakshmi, Parvati and Athena are made with natural and essential oils, so they are gentle on the nose and skin. They provide an alternative to the common alcohol and water based perfume.

The company's focus is sustainability, and 10 percent of all profits go to charity.

In 2007, Jacki Belanoff was announced as the new CEO of Lakshmi NYC.  She has continued in Jo's footstep striving to develop outstanding quality products that smell unique and delicious, that are calming to the soul, and are environmentally friendly and cruelty free. 

Lakshmi NYC is a small but growing company. We thank all our supporters and all those who first consider buying products from companies that respect all life in our environment.
